Lagg Corriecravie Edition, 55%, Sherry Cask Finish, 50ppm. The Corriecravie Edition is the 2nd of the core range Single Malts from Lagg Distillery and bottled in limited quantities once a year. The spirit is matured initially in Bourbon Barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads sourced directly from producer Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain. Concerto malted barley and water from their own borehole is used. The chosen yeast and fermentation time allows to create a full-bodied flavor, the taste profile is slightly richer than the Kilmory expression bringing to the fore notes of sweeter spices and rich fruits...
