The Vital Spark 12 years old Batch 002 is an Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery bottled by the independent bottler The Maltman (Meadowside Blending, Donald Hart). It’s the second release in this new series focused on peated small batch releases. This Batch 002 is a heavily peated single malt, finished in an Oloroso sherry butt. It was bottled in 2019 at natural cask strength of 50,2% ABV, non chill filtered & noncoloured, limited single cask release of 1280 bottles.
